MAG Team Future Camp #1 2016
“The first MAG Team Future Camp successfully finished at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra. It took place from the 26th until the 29th of February and it’s participants were invited based on their results from National Championship and VAT (Virtual Assessment Tools) scores.
Our Boys had some great opportunities to learn new skills and also improve on their basics.
They did profile testing where their Physical Fitness Level was assessed.
In these tests 2 of our gymnasts were awarded for being at the top of their age group:
– Nathaniel Inouye (Under 11);
– Ludi Christopherson (Under 12)
They also had the opportunity to watch the highest level of Australian Gymnastics performing in the PacRim trial.
There were classroom lectures such as Anti doping, Mental skill and Self massage. These sessions were practical and really effective.
The next camp will be held in October this year. All boys are going to work hard, trying to get even better scores at the next camp.”
