Did you know this face has been around High Flyers for over 4 years now! And let us tell you, she’s got super strong shoulders, being able to carry High Flyers how she has been. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She enjoys meeting people and assisting them with whatever the challenge may be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even better? She loves seeing someone ‘learn’ from something she has enabled.
She is self-proclaimed constantly learning from everyone around her, and with a versatile and dynamic role, she has no two days ever the same. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Belinda? You’re an absolute gem and we’re lucky to have you as part of the team.
Kindy Gym Coordinator
Hooley dooley, check out this trophy cupboard full of tasks the one and only Kylie helps with!
– Competitive Women’s Gymnastics Coach
– Runs the Recreational Gymnastics Program
– Safety officer
– And is also an Accredited men’s judge, and accredited Advanced WAG + MAG coach
One thing Kylie mentioned, (and we agree wholeheartedly with!) is that no two children learn the same way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her advice? You need to be flexible and you need to be confident in your coaching.
Kylie started as a parent volunteer in 2003 and became a paid staff member in 2004 all up, 17 years ago.
Thanks for sticking by us Kylie – your not just an incredible Coach and Coordinator, but you are family.
Trampoline Program Co-Ordinator
One of the Clubs longest-running staff members, he started with us on a gap year, back in 2006.
Excluding a quick return stint to England, he moved back permanently in November 2008 and has worked at the club for nearly 13 years now.
When he arrived in WA permanently in November 2008, Trampolining was still seen as a low-level gymnastics sport, and not really taken all too seriously.
Now? Trampolining is arguably WA’s most successful gym sport at the High Performance level, plus one of the most participated gym sports across the board at state level.
Being able to play a part in the success and growth of the sport in WA (and Australia!) in that time as an athlete, coach, judge, course presenter and assessor, State and National committee member makes him very, very proud!
Head Tumbling Coach
Luke’s first job was a soccer referee in England, which he worked in for 8 years.
Now, he’s in charge of managing and overseeing the Competitive and Recreational Tumbling programs.
We’re so proud of him helping two athletes get selected to represent Australia at the 2019 Tumbling World Championships in Japan.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Head Coach of the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics
Paige’s success can partly be contributed to spending lots of time reading and learning over the years, as well as spending countless hours observing other coaches. It’s probably also because she is SUPER passionate about gymnastics, and when committed to doing something, it’s done to the best of her ability.
Head of Recreational Program, Trampoline and Special Needs Coach.
He was led to us from a working holiday to Australia, and a whole lot of luck.
He’s proud of obtaining his FIG2/Advanced Silver Qualification.
We also want to highlight the effort Kasey put into progressing a special needs clients to transition from our 1:1 classes, into our Recreational Gymnastics Program.
He’s inclusive of everyone, has a rip-roaring personality, and can build and connect with any adult or child that attends the gym. We’re grateful to have him in our team!
