2015 Australian National Championships – Trampoline

A team of 25 athletes, 3 coaches and a judge from High Flyers trampoline and tumbling programs have just returned home from 7 days of hard competition at the 2015 Australian National Championships in Melbourne.

The 25 strong team of athletes had a fantastic week of competition at the Hisense arena in Melbourne, competing against the country’s best young athletes.

The WA state team for trampoline sports had a great year in 2015, claiming 24 medals at the championships (the highest in over a decade, if not ever from a WA team!). Congratulations goes out to every athlete who competed, whether they made it to the finals or not. For some, this was their first interstate competition and first National Championships. All athletes conducted themselves to the highest standard and we had an unbelievable routine completion rate:

Individual Trampoline = 48/51 routines completed = 94%

Double Mini Trampoline = 48/50 Passes completed = 96%

A Huge WELL DONE to all!

We would like to congratulate all the athletes, coaches and judges on a fantastic achievement in 2015, and hope we can continue building as a state / club to bigger and better things in 2016!
