Go For 2 & 5 Foundation Finale & Club Level Championships

From the 12th to the 15th of November our WAG girls competed, in their respective discipline and level, at the Go for 2&5 GWA Foundation Finale & Club Levels Championships at the State Gymnastics Centre. In the event were gymnasts from all across the state trying to finish the season the best way possible.

All our girls gave their best, did an amazing job and did their club PROUD!

Gold place overall – Chloe B, Rachel, Sienna

Silver place overall – Samantha, Mia, Ivy, Indy, Eva, Chiara, Chelsea

Club Level State Championships Results

CLUB Level 3

– Isabelle, Jade, Charlize, Mara, Taiyisa, Jess all received Silver overall
– Sophia, Kaala, Gracie received bronze overall

CLUB Level 4

– Montana 3rd Vault (int division)
– Jasmine 2nd Bars (snr division)

CLUB Level 5

– Maya 2nd bars, 3rd floor
– Taryn 3rd beam
– Connie 5th bars

CLUB level 7

– Claire 2nd overall, 6th vault, 4th bars, 2nd beam, 3rd floor
– Eve 2nd bars, 4th beam

OPEN division

– Hannah 1st overall, 1st vault/beam/floor, 3rd bars

– Level 3 team (Jade, Taiyisa, Sophia, Isabelle, Kaala) received 2nd place
– Level 3 team result (Jess, Charlize, Gracie, Mara) 4th place

Here is a little message from coach Jackie about the competition – “Friday marked my final day coaching my level 7 & Open WAG girls that I’ve had for the last two years and we went out with a bang. WA State champion, two second over alls and a third over all with numerous apparatus placings and a team first. Today marks my last day of coaching for the year and last day coaching WAG in the foreseeable future. Although i’ll miss my girls I’m so keen to get back into coaching power tumbling! bring on 2016”
